This blog is mainly a resource for me to keep sorted the multitude of links I collect, with or without the accompanying thoughts. Hopefully, it may be of some use to others interested in some of the issues raised.
The main subject areas are Intellectual Property, IT/Web stuff, and general Culture (ie everything else). While the title does hint correctly that my major focus is to explore “fairness” in their uses, sometimes I will just explore/document uses on their own, without any real reference to “fairness”. And sometimes I might just throw something in because I think it’s neat.
I’m Australian, so this does have an antipodean slant. I’m currently working in IT/Comms policy as a consumer advocate. I’ve worked in IT and on university research projects. Studied Arts/Law a number of years ago but never felt the urge to practice for long enough.
